Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about Chamedun, gathered here.

What exactly does Chamedun do?
Chamedun connects travelers who have spare luggage space with senders who want to move a package between Iran and Oman.
Is using Chamedun legal?
Carrying permitted, personal items by travelers is common practice. You are required to comply with the customs rules of both countries and to refrain from carrying prohibited items.
How can I be sure a traveler is trustworthy?
Travelers complete identity verification (KYC) and receive a rating and review after each delivery. You can see a traveler’s profile and rating before agreeing.
What items cannot be sent?
Drugs, weapons, contraband, dangerous perishables, and anything prohibited under Iranian or Omani law. The full list is on the Trust & Safety page.
How much does sending cost?
The amount is agreed between the traveler and the sender. During the launch phase Chamedun charges no fee; later a small fee will apply only after a successful delivery.
What happens if a package is damaged or lost?
We recommend logging all coordination and package details on the platform. If a dispute arises, the Chamedun team carries out a review and mediation process.
How are payments made?
In the current version, payment is coordinated between the two parties. Secure payments (holding funds until delivery) will be added soon.
Do I need to install an app to use it?
No. You can use the web dashboard or the Chamedun Telegram bot.
Which cities are supported?
The main routes between Iranian cities (Tehran, Shiraz, Isfahan, Mashhad, Bandar Abbas) and Omani cities (Muscat, Salalah) are supported. New routes are added over time.
How can I report a problem?
You can reach support through the Contact page or the Chamedun Telegram bot. Each user can also report a violation from a profile.
