How does Chamedun work?
Whether you're a traveler, a sender, or a remote shopper — the process is simple and transparent.
For travelers
- 1
Create a profile and verify
Sign up with your phone number and upload your ID with a liveness check to earn the “verified” badge.
- 2
Announce your trip
Enter your origin, destination, flight date and how much spare luggage space you have (e.g. 8 kg).
- 3
Accept requests
The matching engine suggests suitable packages; you accept based on type and fee.
- 4
Pick up and deliver with codes
Collect the package with the pickup code, then deliver it with the delivery code and a photo; escrow releases and a rating is logged.
For senders
- 1
Describe your package
Enter the type, weight and declared value so the right traveler is matched and coverage is set.
- 2
Find a trusted traveler
Choose among verified travelers on your route based on trust score and travel time.
- 3
Fund escrow
You pay, and Chamedun holds the funds; you hand the package to the traveler with the pickup code.
- 4
Confirm delivery and rate
The recipient collects it with the delivery code; once confirmed, escrow releases and you rate the traveler.
Buy-for-me
Specify a product that isn't available locally and set a budget cap; a traveler on the route buys it and brings it back. Payment is held in escrow until delivery.
How the handoff codes work
Pickup code
When handing the package to the traveler, the sender shares this code to log the pickup.
Delivery code
At the destination, the recipient shares this code to confirm final delivery and release escrow.
Photo proof
A photo of the package is logged at each step so there's a clear record.
Important safety tips
Following these tips makes for a safer experience for everyone.
- Never accept a sealed or unknown package without knowing its contents.
- Never carry prohibited items (drugs, illegal goods, contraband) under any circumstances.
- Keep coordination and payment inside the platform so there's a record in case of a dispute.
- Before handover, log a photo and the details of the package in the system.
